SERDANG, 4 December – The K12 Safe Ride Clinic Program is a program organized by the Recreation Secretariat, College Representative Council, College Dua Belas for the 2022/2023 session in collaboration with the Management of College Dua Belas. This program aims to improve basic safety knowledge that needs to be practiced and a little specific knowledge about bicycle repair skills to students, especially to members of the Bicycle Club, Kolej Dua Belas, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This program is an initiative to give the first exposure to the members of the Bicycle Club, Kolej Dua Belas about the basics of safety when cycling and learn the skills to repair bicycles in case of damage to help club members before they start club activities together.

The main content of this program consists of sharing about the basic safety of cycling and specific knowledge about how to repair bicycles in theory by the speaker Mr. Fairul Razi. In addition, direct demonstration and teaching of bicycle repair skills by Mr. Fairul Razi together with his team members to the participants.

The program starts at 9:00 am with the registration of participants and the presence of speakers to the Safe Ride K12 Clinic program. Next, the program was continued by sister Khalisah Husna Khairilazhar as the host of the ceremony who opened the ceremony and recited prayers. The program continues with the sharing of basic cycling safety and how to repair bikes in theory by the speaker. After the sharing of basic cycling safety and how to repair a bicycle has been delivered, a question and answer session is opened to participants who have questions about how to repair a bicycle. The program continues with demonstrations and live teaching by the team brought by the speakers. During the demonstration activity, the participants were divided into two groups consisting of 12 and 13 people for each group. The speaker held a bicycle tire pump competition to test the participants' understanding of the bicycle repair skills that had been shared earlier. The K12 Safe Ride Clinic Program was held face-to-face at Kolej Dua Belas Wakaf and Kolej Doa Belas Bicycle Workshop and was attended by a total of 25 participants consisting of members of the Bicycle Club, Kolej Doa Belas and Kolej Doa Belas students. Finally, the program ends with the presentation of prizes to the speakers, the closing words of the host of the event, a QR code scanning session to fill in the merits of the participants, a photo session and the ceremony dispersing.
