TWELFTH COLLEGE SESSION 2025/2026

KUBANG KERIAN, 26th JULY  – Meh Kelik Klate was a cultural programme organised by the Culture and Arts Secretariat, Student Representative Council of Kolej Dua Belas, Session 2025/2026, in collaboration with the Management of Kolej Dua Belas. The programme aimed to introduce and promote the rich cultural heritage of the state of Kelantan among students of Universiti Putra Malaysia UPM through a variety of cultural and artistic activities. In addition to providing participants with exposure to Kelantanese traditions and customs, the programme also fostered teamwork, communication, leadership, and a greater appreciation of Malaysia's diverse cultural heritage.

The programme commenced at 7:30 a.m. with the registration of participants and the Organising Committee (OC), followed by breakfast before departing for Min House Camp. Upon arrival, the participants were given a briefing on the programme itinerary and the activities scheduled throughout the three-day programme.

Throughout the programme, participants took part in a variety of cultural activities and traditional games workshops. These included learning about stingless bees, preparing traditional delicacies, and participating in cultural exploration activities that provided participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the unique heritage of Kelantan. Each activity was facilitated by experienced instructors who provided guidance and ensured that the programme ran smoothly, systematically, and safely. The programme atmosphere was further enhanced by the active participation of the attendees, who demonstrated excellent teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm in every activity.

At 12:30 p.m., the participants enjoyed lunch before the programme continued with additional cultural activities. Towards the end of the programme, a montage showcasing memorable moments from the Meh Kelik Klate Programme was presented as a recap of the three-day experience. The closing ceremony then continued with the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the representatives of Min House Camp in recognition of their cooperation and hospitality throughout the programme. The programme concluded with a group photography session before the participants departed for their respective destinations.

The Meh Kelik Klate Programme officially came to a close on a joyful note, leaving all participants with meaningful experiences and lasting memories. The programme successfully achieved its objectives of strengthening unity, fostering appreciation for cultural heritage, and cultivating a deeper appreciation for the traditional arts and culture of Kelantan.
