INVESTITURE OF TWELFTH

COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL SESSION 2025/2026

SERDANG, OCTOBER 25th – Investiture of Twelfth College Representative Council Session 2025/2026 was successfully held at Dewan Putra 2, Kolej Serumpun, Universiti Putra Malaysia and was also broadcasted live on YouTube via TwelveTV. The program was organized by the Secretariat of Digitalization and Corporate Communication in collaboration with the management of Twelfth College. The ceremony aimed to officially appoint and introduce the new leadership of Twelfth College to all college members, as well as to recognize the contributions and dedication of the College Representative Council Twelfth College Session 2024/2025 throughout their term of service.

Through this program, college members were able to witness the leadership appointment ceremony firsthand. The event also provided opportunities for college members to participate either physically or online, increasing their engagement in college activities and gaining valuable experience in understanding the practical aspects of student leadership. Furthermore, the program served to inspire college members to become part of the College Representative Council in the future.

The ceremony began with the procession of distinguished guests into Dewan Putra 2 at 7:40 p.m. followed by a recitation of prayers to seek blessings for the event. Then, the ceremony invited Puan Noorhayati Fazlul Haque, Administrative Officer, to deliver the opening speech. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of integrity, responsibility, and high commitment in enhancing student welfare throughout the new leadership’s term of service. The officiating gimmick symbolically marked the official start of the College Representative Council Session 2025/2026.

The symbolic handover of the Investiture to the President of the College Representative Council Session 2025/2026 was conducted between 8:45 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. followed by the presentation of certificates and plaques of appreciation to the outgoing leadership. The oath-taking session was led by Muhammad Afiq, President of the College Representative Council together with all College Representative Council, as a pledge to uphold the entrusted responsibilities. The dinner session was enlivened with a dance performance by Petra D’ Wangsa. The ceremony concluded at 10:00 p.m. after all guests scanned the QR code to mark their attendance.

The Investiture of College Representative Council Twelfth College was conducted in an orderly and lively manner, enabling more students to follow the proceedings both physically and online, while appreciating the contributions of the outgoing leadership and introducing the new leadership of Twelfth College.
