TWELFTH COLLEGE SESSION 2025/2026

 

SERDANG, MAY 1st – The Lepark K12 2.0 programme was organised by the Secretariat of Entrepreneurship, College Representative Council, Twelfth College Session 2025/2026, in collaboration with the Management of Twelfth College. This programme aims to serve as a platform for business, sales and marketing strategies, as well as entrepreneurial development, for students in the business field, emphasizing exposure to commercial aspects. One of the goals of this program is to provide a more comfortable and casual space for visitors to unwind and destress. Through this program, students can also generate income and develop their potential in entrepreneurship. This, in turn, enhances their experience in the entrepreneurial world and equips them with basic business skills that can be utilized after graduating from the university. In addition to fostering an interest in entrepreneurship, the program also helps improve skills in communication, management, marketing, and teamwork. Overall, Lepark K12 2.0 aims to produce competitive, innovative, and entrepreneurially minded students, in line with the aspirations of Universiti Putra Malaysia to mold holistic and high-potential graduates. The program began at 3:00 p.m. with the arrival of vendors and booth preparations, followed by the opening of sales and business activities, which ran until 11:00 p.m. to enliven the festival atmosphere.

The main highlight of Lepark K12 2.0 began at 8:30 p.m. with a performance by a busking group. The group's performance successfully captured the attention of many visitors,

 

encouraging them to sit in the provided seating areas until the performance concluded at 10:30 p.m.. The format of this program not only tested entrepreneurial skills and marketing strategies but also enlivened the campus atmosphere through active interaction between vendors and customers. Each booth was managed entirely by the students themselves to ensure smooth transactions, while fostering a spirit of competitiveness and innovation within a real business environment.

 

These business activities ran continuously until 11:00 p.m. daily throughout the week of the program. The program was monitored and supervised by Mr. Solihin Nawai as the Monitoring Fellow and received full support from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Suriawati Isa as the Principal of Tenth College. On the final day, April 24, 2026, packing and site-cleaning sessions began at 11:30 p.m., officially closing the curtains on Lepark K12 2.0 with a strong spirit of cooperation and success in achieving the objective of developing student entrepreneurs.
