History

Twelfth College is one of the 17 residential colleges at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Even so, Kolej Dua Belas is part of Kolej Serumpun because of its unique position among the other three colleges, namely; College Fourteen, College Fifteen and College Sixteen.

Twelfth College , Universiti Putra Malaysia was opened in May 2000, along with the opening of Kolej Empat Belas. Initially, this residential college was open to female students only. Later, the placement was opened to male students. The placement and maintenance of facilities for Serumpun College is under the responsibility of PJS Development Sdn. Bhd. completely.

On February 1, 2018, College Twelve was merged with College Five and the name of the college was College Twelve. On 1 September 2019 for the 2019/2020 Session, Kolej Dua Belas has taken over the full placement from PJS Development Sdn. Bhd.
