SERDANG, January 9 - The Basic Kayak Training Class Program is a program organized by the Recreation Secretariat, College Representative Council, Twelfth College for the 2022/2023 session in collaboration with the Management of College Dua Belas. This program was held with the aim of giving basic exposure to kayaking skills to students in recreational activities involving water sports, especially among members of the Twelfth College Water Recreation Club.

The instructor, Mr. Karthik A/L Paramisparan, is giving a basic introductory briefing on kayaking to the participants.

This program can also be a platform to introduce water recreation activities such as kayaking to College Dua Belas students who are interested in water recreation activities. In addition, this program can also produce students who have a high sporting spirit in water sports activities.

The main content of this program consists of a briefing session on the basics of kayaking, which is how to check a kayak that is safe to use and safety measures before kayaking and practical kayaking training by the instructor Mr. Karthik A/L Paramisparan.

The program started at 8:30 am with the arrival of instructor Mr. Karthik A/L Paramisparan. The program continues with a basic kayak introduction briefing by the instructor on how to check that the kayak is safe to use and the safety measures to follow before kayaking. Next, the program continues with basic kayak training supervised by instructors around Serumpun Lake. The program continued with a souvenir presentation session from the Water Recreation Club to the instructors and a photo session with the participants. Finally, the program ends with the participant attendance registration session by scanning the QR code to fill in the merits of the students present and the program disperses.
