EKSA@K12

Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) is an initiative by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to strengthen a culture of quality, professionalism, and high performance in the workplace. The implementation of EKSA supports UPM's continuous efforts to enhance service delivery through the establishment of a systematic, conducive, and impactful work environment.

Introduced in 2014 as the rebranding of the Public Sector 5S Practices, EKSA emphasizes the cultivation of creativity, innovation, sustainability, and corporate image in line with the aspirations of public sector transformation. At UPM, EKSA implementation also serves as one of the key assessment criteria in the Responsibility Centre (PTJ) Star Rating.

EKSA is founded on the 5S Practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) which provide the basis for creating a systematic, clean, and conducive workplace. In addition, EKSA is strengthened through the incorporation of the following enhancement elements:

  • Corporate Image
  • Creativity and Innovation
  • Green Practices
  • Conducive Work Environment
  • Agency Diversity
